Robin Francis

Robin Francis is a proud product of the St. Paul Public Schools. She received her Bachelor of Arts at Virginia State University, and Master of Arts at the University of St. Thomas. Robin holds an Ed Specialist degree and K-12 principal licensure. Most recently, Robin achieved her Director of Special Education license. Robin is a certified coach and retreat leader.  She is currently working on her doctorate degree in special education leadership.

Robin’s leadership spans over 20 years, starting as a classroom teacher, a building principal, and a district level leader. She also consults with charter schools helping to develop systems, create processes for staff and students and educational practices that ensure equity is at the forefront of all conversations and academic action. She has assisted districts and trained multiple teams who were working with voluntary Office of Civil Rights agreements.

Recently, Robin decided to leave her position as the Director of Equity and Inclusion with Eastern Carver County Schools to join Forbes Solutions PLLC. as a consultant to launch and expand The Finding Human Institute LLC.

Robin believes that the work of equity is vital to helping students build a strong foundation for their academic and social journey; and that equity is a non-negotiable that our educational system must hold space for.
