Paula Forbes
Founder of the Finding Human Institute
Paula G. Forbes, J.D. is a transformational leadership consultant, executive coach, and founder of The Finding Human Institute LLC, a national consultancy dedicated to helping individuals and organizations lead with courage, compassion, and clarity. With more than three decades of experience spanning law, education leadership, and organizational transformation, Paula partners with corporate leaders, executives, and changemakers to create human-centered systems rooted in belonging, authenticity, and equity.
As a three-year breast cancer survivor and a woman who has redefined her own path in the “second act” of life, Paula brings a unique perspective on resilience, renewal, and reinvention. Her lived experience fuels her ability to hold space for others—especially women navigating career pivots or personal transformation—as they embrace change with grace and purpose. Paula believes that transformation, when approached consciously, is a powerful path toward freedom, wholeness, and joy.
Known as a conversation catalyst, Paula creates spaces for authentic dialogue that inspire growth and forward momentum. Whether she’s guiding corporate teams through organizational change, coaching women leaders to step into their next chapter, or mentoring individuals seeking to redefine success, Paula helps her clients uncover their inner wisdom and align their lives with their deepest values. Her passion lies in helping people realize abundance—financially, professionally, and spiritually—by embracing their unique magic and leading from a place of authenticity and ease.
Through The Finding Human Institute, Paula designs and delivers immersive retreats, professional development programs, and facilitation trainings tailored to corporate teams and individuals alike. Drawing on frameworks like The Art of Hosting, the Insights® Discovery model, and L.E.A.D., these experiences invite participants to reflect deeply, reimagine possibility, and reconnect with what it means to be fully human in their work and lives.
In addition to her consulting and coaching work, Paula has served as an adjunct professor for nearly two decades, teaching Education and the Law at the University of Minnesota and Public Policy and Leadership at Concordia University. Her academic, professional, and personal journeys converge in her mission: to empower leaders—especially women in their second act—to live abundantly, lead courageously, and create meaningful change in the world, one human story at a time.
Whether you’re navigating a career pivot, leading a team through change, or stepping into your Second Act, I’m here to help.
